The Retreat
Built low, built quiet
Forest Retreat sits on the native canopy edge of the guest estate — a single-storey structure in lime plaster, local stone and reclaimed teak, with deep eaves that keep the verandah usable through the monsoon. Everything served here is grown, milked or milled inside the boundary.
There is no lobby, no corridor and no neighbour in sight. Housekeeping is by request. The nearest other retreat is a two-minute walk through planting.
